Well the the craic was ninety,top job on the camp lads.The plastic wrapping was a top idea Glen.After finishing the bottle of port which survived the jump over the wall LandyLiam produced a bottle of black bush  :-X.Big head this morning.

What a great night, the food was immense and the company was great craic, kudos to Glenn for getting us some shelter out of the wind with the plastic wrapping, worked a treat. Well done every-one and good to see a lot of new faces.

What a cracker!  It was all the sweeter in the end after all the terrible forecasts in the run up to the camp.  Great craic with friends new and old.  It was class that all evening head torches would keep emerging from the forest as another NI Wilder would come and join the party.

Great effort everyone for everything from serving up the food, to hauling a stockpile of wood down for the fire, to lining up a festive track listing for the music player and lights to go with it.

As someone on the forum once said there is somewhere in the Mournes to camp all year round, last night proved that!

Storm Desmond Ha who's he,  he doesn't scare us.
A fantastic night was had by all, the food and company  made it another night to remember. A little bit of effort makes it another successful Christmas camp well done guys. MERRY CRIMBO.

I think I missed the best bit of the party. It was nice to meet everyone, the craic was good and the food was fantastic given the location. Anyone who has seen the few photos i took on my phone can't believe the spread that was put on in the middle of a forest in the middle of a storm. Thanks everyone again andMerry Christmas to all.

What a brilliant night!

The wind and rain looked pretty bad as we drove up towards Newcastle last night, but I'm so glad the camp went ahead as planned, we had a great set up going, shelter from the wind, Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, and wine and beer a plenty!

Well done to all who stayed over, and the ejits who left them cosy houses to join us for a couple of hours.
