Looks like I'm 0-2 for these xmas camps now. Car decided today to throw me a curve ball with low oil pressure and it will be at least Monday before I can get the parts to fix the issue.

A Christmas dinner with no mash is no dinner at all  :o  At this stage it maybe seems like a big undertaking.

What about as a suggestion that a few folk pitch in and bring a tray each of the ready-made mash you get in the supermarket?  We can then just throw it all into a foil tray to heat up et voila - mash!  No one will be out a lot of money and it won't take up too much space in your pack.

I'll bring one and a foil tray to put it all in.  Anyone else?

If you are bringing a turkey you can be excused 8)

Bringing a turkey is no excuse and pillowy mounds of mash is just what we need so I'll throw one in my pack too.  Truth is, I'll be hiding it in Foxy's pack, but she'll never notice  ;)

I arrived in Belfast from Germany and finally got my ruck with gear back that the airline lost. I feel a bit bad I'm not set up to cook and bring food so I'm bringing as much whiskey as will fit.

Looking forward to meeting yall!

What's all this talk about food when there's serious issues to discuss like the Christmas hat competition! I'm quite proud of mine, bet I forget to bring it  >:(

Mine was stolen by a young lassie at my work Christmas do last week but with the power of Amazon Prime it has been replaced with something a bit more spectacular

My Christmas hat is also sorted! Its been a struggle wrestling it away from my 5 year old son though!
Alive or just breathing?

Who's feeling lucky! Actually, we'll need to appoint an impartial Xmas hat judge. We don't want to end up with investigations and accusations of headwear based corruption!
