Hi folks, I hope you don't mind if I join you this year. I've spent the last two years getting my kit together and trying out a few solo bivi/camping trips and building my confidence in the hills.  ( I'll bring whisky ) looking forward to meeting you all and sharing some stories.

Hello all, long time no speak!

Grace and I are hoping to be in attendance this year, sure how could we miss it? I see no one has claimed the mulled wine and I'm not prepared to let that happen, so stick me down for that ;D

Looking forward to it all again this year, it's always the highlight of the camping calendar.

Nicely done everyone, looks like it's shaping up nicely.

Does anyone remember last year someone brought Yorkshire Puddings, does anyone remember who?

It was my friend Aidan and his wife that brought them, unfortunately they won't be coming this year as they are in Slovakia for Christmas.

Just two days left till your bellies are busted on the side of a mountain, all in the name of Christmas.

I've had a quick look down the list of food stuffs and there are still a couple of items needing volunteers so that we have the full works to chow down on:
  • Mash Potato
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Christmas Cake
Anybody fancy claiming these last few items or Santa will be sad  :'(

I'll bring Xmas Cake and Cranberry. Not sure if I'm going to have time to mash anything though if someone wants to pick up the potato mantle.

There are 34 people on the list, that number may grow or shrink. With that in mind, if anyone wanted to bring extra of any the foodstuffs, especially meat it would be appreciated or else it might all get a bit Oliver Twist.

The weather's looking okay. Dry but windy and cold. Remember to wrap up warm folks and come very well prepared.
Can I also reiterate this:

As ever, everyone needs to read and understand the safety and responsibility notice linked here if they want to attend:
http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/forum/forum-news-information-and-help/ni-wild-meets-safety-and-responsibilty/
It will be cold and possibly wet and snowy. Definitely make sure you have suitable gear and experience for a night out in winter. If anyone wants any advice just PM. Please do not come if you are not well prepared!

What about anyone who hasn't volunteered to bring anything bring something extra? I would have gladly done the potatoes, but I won't be up in time  :(
