On a lighter note has anyone watched Thor as I borrowed it of the net and was wondering is it worth watching

Thor was pretty awesome. If you have a decent TV and surround sound it would be worth waiting for a decent DVD/HD rip to come along rather than a screener. The sound and visuals are pretty epic.

Early movie releases on the net are always screeners where someone took a videocamera to the cinema. They're always full of people getting up for popcorn and couples arguing ;)

Yeah, it's pretty soon for a proper rip. Even when the first proper rips appear they tend to be R5 which is never the final cut of the movie, it's specifically released to combat piracy in the Russian area and never has the proper audio track and is usually short special effects. These days you don't often see decent R1/R2 rips much before the movies are due to appear in the shops.
