Love it.  So bloody accurate and true.  Therefore because it's so simple it'll be dismissed.

Thor was pretty awesome. If you have a decent TV and surround sound it would be worth waiting for a decent DVD/HD rip to come along rather than a screener. The sound and visuals are pretty epic.

On a lighter note has anyone watched Thor as I borrowed it of the net and was wondering is it worth watching

Early movie releases on the net are always screeners where someone took a videocamera to the cinema. They're always full of people getting up for popcorn and couples arguing ;)

Started to watch it but the quality was no good on tv so instead I watched all my new family guy shows . Peter Griffin legend  :D

Started to watch it but the quality was no good on tv so instead I watched all my new family guy shows . Peter Griffin legend  :D

It said DVD rip but they lied , the cheek of them  ;)

Yeah, it's pretty soon for a proper rip. Even when the first proper rips appear they tend to be R5 which is never the final cut of the movie, it's specifically released to combat piracy in the Russian area and never has the proper audio track and is usually short special effects. These days you don't often see decent R1/R2 rips much before the movies are due to appear in the shops.

Lenny if it's the R1 etc it's the DVD regions


REGION 1 -- USA, Canada
REGION 2 -- Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Greenland
REGION 3 -- S.Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Parts of South East Asia
REGION 4 -- Australia, New Zealand, Latin America (including Mexico)
REGION 5 -- Eastern Europe, Russia, India, Africa
REGION 6 -- China
REGION 7 -- Reserved for Unspecified Special Use
REGION 8 -- Reserved for Cruise Ships, Airlines, etc...
REGION 0 or REGION ALL -- Discs are uncoded and can be played Worldwide, however, PAL discs must be played in a PAL-compatible unit and NTSC discs must be played in an NTSC-compatible unit.
