The tough bit seems to be summiting CMD itself, assuming it is the first (rather steep looking!) hump on that diagram.  The Arete itself looks rather nice :)

Yeah agree we need to get this sorted what about the training day does Sunday the 21st suit? We could either head to the Mournes or just go to a climbing wall. What do you s think?

Just as an update - it's looking good that I might be able to make this to do the tourist route. I have family in the land of the picts that are keen to come down for a tramp.

So if anyone else fancies the easy way let me know and we'll see what we can organise.
