For dog folks
« on: January 24, 2014 »

After seeing the posts from Phil_b about the loss of his dog recently I noticed something in the news about a possible disease that could be responsible for dog deaths in and around the UK. All info seems to point towards dogs in outdoor type places too. I know Phil_b mention his dog had a cut foot which got infected but nothing else so just wondering if any of the symptoms were similar to this?

I heard this mentioned on the news at the start of the week and did read up on it. I don't think it is the same as what happened to my dog though. She got a cut between her toes which picked up an infection though I thought she was just lame to start with. The infection did affect her liver as well as spreading up her leg and unfortunately all the antibiotics she was getting couldn't beat it.
