NATURE EVENT!!! Isabel from Mourne Nature Watch will be leading a walk along the Bloody Bridge Coastal path, this Saturday 16th March at 2pm. Brush up on your geology, flora and fauna along the way and if you have binos bring them as the conditions are fantastic for whale and dolphin spotting! All welcome, but wear boots, as path can be very muddy and isn't suitable for pushchairs.

Note by Chuck: no idea who these folks are, but they have had a couple of events since forming late last year. This event seems to be a nice easy walk long the coast, suitable for all ages, just bring your wellies if (ha!) it's been wet.

I went to one of their walks at Dundrum Coastal Path, the kids were made very welcome and the walk was very easy going. Hoping to get to this one too but I am tied to Downpatrick til 2pm so it will be a tight squeeze to get their in time

Went to this on Saturday past. About 10 people turned up and one child. Bit of chatter about the Mournes and how it was formed, bit of a walk along the shore looking at geological stuff, little bit of story telling about the Bloody Bridge, little bit of animal watching...all very relaxed. Well worth going to whenever they hold the next one.

Seems it's run by some of the folks from Mourne Heritage Trust on a informal basis.
