Irish Trails App
« on: January 21, 2013 »

Hi all!  Been quite some time since I posted, but came across this and thought would share.  Irish Trails have launched an app for iOS (Android coming soon) that could be very useful if you are planning on venturing beyond the Mournes this year.  You can download the app from the Apple App Store and read more about it on Mountaineering Ireland and IrishTrails.ie.

Minister for Tourism & Sport, Minchael Ring and John Treacy, CEO Irish Sports Council launched a new Irish Trails App in Westport, Co. Mayo on Saturday, 18 January.

The App features a cross section of trails listed from the Irish Trails register initially and will list all trails on the register over the next few months. Irish Trails also plan to develop an android version of the App in 2013.

The App is available for download from the App store.
