Snugpak sleeping bags
« on: November 05, 2012 »

Looking for a synthetic sleeping bag for the winter months that won't break the bank, have been looking at the snugpak ones, anyone on here use them, or any suggestions for a good synthetic bag at a reasonable price?

I got one in a car boot sale last year, bargain at only £2, never slept in it though, my son uses it without any complaints, of course its proably a completely different model than the one you're looking at.

Just looking for a good warm one, not bothered about any particular model, the snugpak ones seem well made and durable, as well as being reasonably priced, but I doubt I'll get one for £2! Bargain alright!  ;D

hey spud, i've the Softie Chrysalis Autumn...i think it's pretty good. The expander zippy bit is great for cooling down on those warm nights. The comfort rating is -5 so i've been thinking about getting one those micro sleeping bags from tesco's to bump up the rating a bit for winter.

Cheers E, I have one of those wee tesco bags already so could use that along with something like the one you have, Im looking to get out camping as much as possible over the winter, and want to be prepared for all eventualities!  ;D
