Binnian summit camp
« on: July 12, 2012 »

Joined with a real bunch of lads last night on Slieve Binnian summit for an overnighter, having reached the summit first,Lenny,Nial,BigE,& myself set about pitching our tents,we were quicky floowed by Twentyclicks,Dowser,Redleader,we then set about firing  up the stoves & cracking open the wine,Landy liam appeared then ;D next Rumblebum arrived with Ed,quickly followed by Chuck with his wee dog in tow, some time after that my two brotheirs were the last to join our camp.
Sorry to anyone who did not get an invite, but space was limited on the summit, the weather closed in around the torrs with a damp miss & a very low temp, one by one the guys went to sleep, but not Dowser & BigE,they drunk the bit out  :-X & as i'am a light sleeper & certain campers were snoring all  :'( night long there was no sleep for me  :P  so with nothing better to do i watched the sunrise.

Picture number 2 is my new wallpaper, it takes my breath away.

Glad to see you had fun guys. Sorry I couldn't make it, somebody has to work the night shifts.

The weather looked cracker, and just look at that cloud inversion!

It really was a crackin' camp guys... The scenery, the company, the sunrise and the never ending supply of fine scotch :-)))

Did anyone get a good shot of the fox that visited the camp just before sunrise... I only had my phone with me and didn't really get a decent picture even though she hung around for well over 30mins and helped herself to all the left overs:
