I emailed the photographer just to find out the price, sometimes he has ex-displays for around 250,but more galleries sell them for as much as 450 quid, maybe have a go at doing this shoot myself, although the actual printing and mounting costs would be around 150,i'll check out the printing cost with some friends in the business

I've loved this guys work for quite a while. Todays quote from his Facebook page is

'Giving you a heads up guys :) Hey I will be at St Georges market tomorrow, Christmas eve with a smile and a reduced price on my remaining prints for you late shoppers.'

Might be worth calling by if you like his stuff.

the big big difference with the pro shots and our amateur shots seems to be the clouds (and they use funny lenses to get a greater panorama) on our amateur shots we have to set our exposure on either the sky or the mountains, we always chose the mountains of course and the sky looks too white, not sure if they use better filters or if its just the better camera, any pros available to advise?

If only there was that many hills Liam!

Nice pics there Mourneman.  I noticed a few wee lines, is the lens due a wipe or what is doing that?

54degreesnorth are selling off some prints today at St.George's market Belfast until 4pm.

from there facebook page:
Quote
Hey... I know some of you guys like to get a heads up on if I am having one of my purge's (tomorrow). I don't do sales as you know as I reckons buying prints should be an investment I do discount display prints ( they may have a few marks) bi - annually though for new images and stock coming. I have one away already but feel free to PM (message)me or if you are interested. If you are in the area I will be at the market today and tomorrow. Thanks..Enjoy your weekend guys.. Cheers. Ian..
