Sounds like a good idea, something to change into when you reach camp.

Whether you're out backpacking, car camping or just sitting around the backyard firepit, your feet will truly appreciate our packable, water-repellent Radler Trail Camp. This lightweight shoe zips completely into itself, so they won't take up much space in your pack, and as they're fleece-lined for comfort and feature 42% recycled rubber lug outsoles for superior traction in the woods, you can comfortably venture out to collect more firewood or grab another marshmallow. I remember that post and they look snug enough (and a lot cheaper), i could see myself wearing them around the house, have you tried them camping out yet and if so how did they fare.

i use them last night to water the garden at 6am, quick and easy to slip on thus avoiding the dreaded tent cramp  :o they are really comfy and could easily be worm in the sleeping bag

Ok I'll break ranks and say that the benefit of these seems to be the compressibility of the upper in the shoe, rather than zipping closed on itself.  So do they actually offer any benefit in zipping closed individually as opposed to putting two together with the soles outward facing?  You could put an elastic band round them.  Or what about making them that you put them together as before and the zip on each interlocks and you only have one item then?
