Just thought I would throw a post up to let you know how Me and my Dawg plan to get up Errigal when I hit Donegal on the 19th August.

I plan to tackle the Seven Sisters aka The Glover Highlander Walk

I would like to be in Donegal to begin my accent of Muckish (666m) by 5pm on Friday 19th August and I intend to Summit Bivvy Muckish that evening.

On Saturday I plan to complete Crocknalaragagh (471m), Aghla Beg (564m), Ardloughnabrackbaddy (603m), Aghla More (584 m), Mackoght (555 m) and finally Errigal (751 m).  Once on top I will be doing another Summit Bivvy  :o

Sunday the 21st I will decend Errigal and try to work out some way of getting back to my car at the base of Muckish  ::)

The maps that I will be using are from the Ordnance Survey Discovery Series, Numbers 1 & 2:

If anybody wants to join me you are more than welcome to do so providing you are well prepared and believe yourself to be fit enough for this challenge!!!

The actual route card I will be following is shown below:

Unfortunately I have to postpone my little adventure until September  :(

Once I have settled on a new date I will let you all know in case anybody wants to come along.
