I feel your pain, I recently come across rubbish when out walking including a used nappy where someone obviously decided to just chuck it which in turn attracts all sorts of vermin!  Like seriously just take your rubbish home and put it in the damn bin instead of chucking it in the countryside   ::) Oh and my other gripe is people who let their dogs fowl on our beaches and then dont bother lifting it and just cover it up!! >:(

Just got on my high horse.  Agreed, the amount of rubbish left lying about is getting worse.  In the Mournes it just seems to be getting worse.  I camped at the northern tip of Ben Crom  reservoir this week-end and the rubbish there is astounding. drinks cartons, bottles, glass and (a first for me) two hexagonal shaped (Quality Street sweet) tins in the remnants of a fire.  Why oh why? >:( :'(

Why would anyone do this. Once the rubbish is bagged and in the car why not drive it to your local dump, seems nuts to lob it over a fence when you could just skip it.

I once pulled up alongside a van that had stopped at the side of the road and was lobbing black bags over the hedge, I pretending to be writing their reg. no. down.  It lead to a bit of a scary car chase.
