Saturday 4th June
« on: May 31, 2011 »

It has been ages since I have been in the hills or even had a night in a tent. Just wondering if anyone was up for something then home earlyish Sunday.

I was thinking anything outdoors would do, ranging from
•   a dedicated campsite
•   a semi wild bivvy at Hares Gap sheep fold area
•   a bivvy on Doan or Hen
If it was kept casual, it might entice some of the newer members out so everyone can put faces to names.

As ever suggestions are welcome.

Just came into ownership of a bivy. Wouldn't mind a trial night. Maybe later in the summer though, wouldnt be able to travel that far.

I'm afraid you can't throw a comment like that in without giving us a bit more info!

Not totally sure what's happening at the mo. I'm not totally sure I can go yet, might turn into a stealth bivvy somewhere local.

Sorry maybe should explain, I'm the technical manager at the Odyssey Arena.  Def Leppard load in on Sunday then Thin Lizzy and Alice Cooper load in on Monday, show Tuesday night.

Interesting, I'd love to see Vivian Campbell and the boys again. If only I knew some awesome guy that worked there  ::)

After some searching tonight Jonno and I have decided a stealth bivvy is in order around the Groomsport Donaghadee area. If anyone is interested send me a pm.
