Snow is back

Just dropped boys off at school and I can see the mournes got a coating of snow last night , anyone heading up there this wkend enjoy , I've 8 nights to do before I set foot on them again  :'(

Really good visibility today, could see the Mournes from Newtownards and the peaks were white capped.  Wasn't sure if it was snow, or a really heavy frost!  Tempting... :)

You can see the mournes from Belfast aswell. Was surprised to see how clear it was and to see snow on top. Glad I'm going caving and not summit camping.

I'm spent last night hammocking in the top of donard wood and there's maybe about 2cm of snow from about 50 metres below the saddle and up. Walked along the brandy pad from Meelmore lodge so didn't take in any peaks, but commedagh and donard looked coated in the stuff. Bearnagh was looking pretty epic as well.
