Sports Directs sales
« on: September 20, 2010 »

Just seen a post over on the bushcraftUK forums about sports direct doing some crazy sales. Had a gander at their website and whilst most of it is useless tosh that would get wrecked in a day there is the odd bargin to be grabbed there some of which is at silly cheap prices. Postage is resonable too with standard delivery for a tent I ordered to derry at £3.99.

I'd agree. Sportsdirect don't always carry a huge range of outdoors stuff but their prices are good in the sales.

I'm still rather fond of the Karrimor X-Lite 3/4 self-inflating mat I bought in Sports Direct.  I always pop into their store for a look if I'm nearby... just in case :)

I'm sure there are some bargains to be had and I agree with Suspect Monkey, I still swear by my Karrimor 3/4 length self-inflating mat that I got for £9.99 but... This has got to be the most expensive underwear I have ever seen: http://www.sportsdirect.com/accapi-action-long-sleeve-half-zip-t-shirt-mens-427044 :o

Its made of titanium and it shoots infra-red rays at your body to stimulate blood flow...what a load of bollocks!

Although not made of titanium, Viagra also stimulates blood flow and only costs £4 a pill.  Think I'll be sticking with Marks and Sparks for my undies.  ;D

enhances waste removal during sporting activities and warm down.

are there special pockets front and back that aren't shown in the picture?
The model does look a bit as if he's in the process of 'waste removal'

popped into the Downpatrick store today , resisted the urge to buy the undergarments, got a pair of karrimor running gloves (i liked the key pocket) which i reckon i'll need tonight (for sleeping, not running) and my first ever spork (only £1.49)

found the karrimor sleeping mat but its £30 now  :( , maybe wait and see if it drops in price, i really could do with a smaller mat if i'm gonna keep up this camping lark
