Weird I watched it last night aswell. And double weird I noticed that and thought to myself "I windered how long it would take him to use it".

In the last few episodes he was using a black Gerber LMF II or possibly Prodigy. Perhaps the Bear Grylls one wasn't available until this episode.

I think this series aired in the US in February so probably filmed last summer [ish]

The more I see this one the more I'll want it

Yeah that is because Bear has a huge support team around him and you would be bound to get rescued..

Think thats it. I havent seen all of it but from what I did see he has a lot of gut doing some of it.

Seen a video where they took a short cut through a train tunnel, about halfway down they heard the train coming at them. They had to run for their lives. The camera man fell mid way and bear ran back and picked him up and they had only just sprinted about 300 metres when they jumped out of the tunnels mouth and the freigh train whizzed passed and missed him by about a foot. '

Fair play that might take balls with some of his other stunts, however when adverage joe now thinks he can do the same someone is going to get killed from bad advice from some chav in karrimor.

To be fair the Bear Grylls show is not a camping show. It is not about let's go into the mountains and try to survive.

It is about when bad things happen and your life is on the line. If someone is stupid enough to cross a river with crocodiles or jump into an unknown pool of water then they deserve a Darwin Award

The most important thing is that this is a TV show. Made for TV and all that. Same as WWE wrestling, Eastenders and Bugs Bunny. And of course it is primarily aimed at the US market; don't hate the player, hate the game

I really enjoy his shows. Some of it is laughable; like when he walked through the trees onto a runway and jumped on a plane

I like the shelter building, fire lighting and making rafts, etc.

A fun show would be a bit or role reversal between Bear and Ray

Watching Ray skydive, climbing and peeing on everything whilst Bear tries his hand at some bushcraft could be fun
