Some really great entries this month. Well done all.

How many members do we have on the forum? And every month we only get the same 7 or 8 people submitting photos. Has the competition run its course? I always make the effort to put something in for it and have 1 in this month too but I don't think it is worth the effort anymore. In fact the whole forum has been very quietly recently.

It's a quiet time of year, things always lull a bit after Xmas. It's just a bit of fun to encourage people to get outside and take some photos. If you have any ideas about how to grow or improve the competition feel free to drop a PM through. We're always happy to take suggestions on board.

Well done Phil, I nearly voted for it but the lack of stars swayed me towards Dowsers pic  :)
think outside, no box required

Thanks guys. That was a 4 min exposure at around 7 am at the start of February last year. The overflow was running over but it is hard to make out.  Star trails are next on my list Liam, I did get a cabled remote and software in the last few weeks, all I have tried so far is 60 30 second exposures stacked to make 1 image, need to practice more.

Well done Phil, enjoy another Sangria tonight - the taste of victory.
