THIS MONTHS THEME IS "SNOW"

This months theme will be "SNOW" chosen by last months Winner, Aragorn.

If you haven't already got a picture in your back catalogue that you feel is good enough, then get out there and get one quick as the snow is beginning to disappear from the hills.

To make it all worth while donning your winter woolies, and venturing into the snowy wilderness, all members who submit an entry will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a Zippo Hand Warmer.

The Entry that gains the most votes will be crowned this months winner and will get to select the theme for the next month's Photo Competition.

Slide this into your pocket and enjoy the outdoors even when it's cold! Zippo's chrome Hand Warmer has a high-polish finish and thin design that easily fits into pockets. It's virtually odourless and stays warm for up to 12 hours. The Zippo Hand Warmer is perfect for sporting events, hunting, winter sports, and sleigh rides too! The Zippo Hand Warmer also comes with a filler cup and warming bag.

So, if your fed up with cold hands get your winning entry in!!!

Please email your entry for the Monthly Photo Competition to here: [email protected]

Please do not post in this thread until the photographs have been displayed, then the chat can begin.

For fairness, submitted entries will not be displayed until after the closing date.

All entries need to be submitted by Midnight on Tuesday 30th April and will be displayed here shortly after.

It's another short month so don't delay getting out with those cameras

The Monthly Photo Competition is open to NI-Wild Members only.  Only one entry per member per month will be accepted. Please remember to include your NI Wild Username when submitting your entry.

No specialist equipment is required to enter this Photo comp and remember you're the photographer, so your interpretation will be respected.

I thought about it, then decided it would be wrong to pass this off as my own work.  It was apparently taken at Easter just outside Ballyclare.

Last few hours to get an entry in for this months photo comp as the deadline is Midnight tonight.

Don't forget... It's worth getting an entry in as your name will be automatically entered into the hat for a chance to win one of this months Zippo Hand Warmers.

You do not need to win the photo comp to be entered into the draw and there is currently
a 1-in-15 chance of never having cold fingers in the hills again  ;)

Most non-outdoor folk I know have done nothing but moan about our long drawn out winter but that can't be said about our Ni Wilders... Seems you have all been out enjoying whatever mother nature can throw at us.

Great response this month, can't think why... cough cough "hand warmer" cough, but that was the intention so thanks to everybody that has submitted a photo for deliberation.

Your vote is as important as the entries themselves so please get involved and support our keen photographers and the hard work that they have put in  :)

Voting will remain open until Sunday the 5th May 2013

I had a f**ked ankle during all that snow up the Mournes and after seeing this thread I'm rightly depressed  :(

Was #3 taken up the Mournes?
If so it gets my vote.

twentyclicks

Loads of super pics!
For some reason I got quite nostalgic looking at some of them.
I wanted to vote for quite a few, but two shots were quite unexpected and caught my eye...and I had to choose between them also.
Tough.
