I have been looking Lenny, but i want a army style pack. Also i think this pack would be good incase i ever go to somewhere like cape wrath walk.

What lite pack would you take for an over nighter mate ?

I have a Osprey Kestrel 58. Osprey do make some great packs (I am sure others would agree). But if you want to go down the milatry route why not go gown to a surplus store and get one for half the price.

But seriously tell us what you want the pack for and let people give you there thoughts (I swear by Osprey)

I never thought about it waying more than my tent  ::)

Ok, i would like a green Backpack to blend into natures world, i have no idea about the litre i need for an over night camp. Just like the xmas one coming up, i don't mine paying for a good one.

I would always take.........

tent
sleeping bag
bivey
roll mat
pocket rocket
survival stuff
spare clothes
food
mess tin
axe

So what would suit me ?

Your best off going into both Cotswolds. I got mine from outdoorkit.com. They had the best price.
