Phil_b... Could you send through your Photocomp entry again or let me know when you will be sending it through.  The file you sent was corrupt and only half of it opens properly

I had emailed you earlier but not sure if you got it or not.

I've editted the title to reflect the date (assuming its been finalised) I can't make that date myself, so hopefully i'll be there   ;)  any location decided?

This is confusing me. I'm looking forward to having a beer with you while you're not there :D

If i say i'm going, something else will get in the way, thats the way life seems to work for me, so i'm not going, and please keep me a seat  ;D

Sorry lads, I can't make the date. I have a wedding to attend that day and night.

RedLeader

I'm in. Though I'd like to do something Halloween themed. Not sure what though. Climbing at night at Halloween sounds like the start of a horror movie, I'll be avoiding that :P

I initially thought I would be up sort of late, but now it looks like I could be up earlier. I'm going to have the kids (unless the weather is terrible) so was thinking about doing something that might keep them occupied.
I really like the idea of a little climbing or something but one of them is to small ATM so was thinking something bushcrafty.

Does anyone fancy doing something? We could do firelighting, shelter building etc.

Ideas welcome

Rumblebum

On either the saturday or sunday im gonna take my nephew into Pershy Beshe cave for a crawl, granted he might not want to go the whole way but he likes the exploring.

I'm willing to bring out the youth worker in me and organise some Halloween games, we could have a fancy dress party for the kids.. Dave are you bringing the youngest already?? Lol
Please note.. If adults wish to dress up I would like to request that they refrain from dressing as Freddy Kruger, Michael, jeepers creepers, slender man, chainsaw massacre, scream, or that dude from Saw.. Oh and any type of clown.. Muchos

Lets face it, Annalong wood is not the best place for kids or pitching tents, It full of s**t everywere. and it so far out of the way, Only good if you got a car, We dont all drive. I think donard woods is a much better place for this as there is more flat ground and easyer to get to for some people. Just my two cents.

Donard Wood is hard to get to for smaller children, more complicated to get to in the dark, just as messy as Annalong and we can't be sure if we light a fire that someone wont come and make us put it out. Annalong Wood on the other hand is easy to get to both during the day and at night for all ages, doesn't have firelighting issues and when we were up last Spud had a really good clear around and carried all the rubbish down so it's nowhere near as littered. It is bumpier for tents but it's a sizeable forest, I can't imagine we wont get everyone pitched okay.

It is a bit further out the coast road but it's a small price to pay for all the benefits. I'm sure with all the people going someone could squeeze you into a car.

I'm going to try to get to this one with one of the kids.  The change of location is part of the attraction.

Re the full of .... comment, are we talking human or animal?
