Aww thanks Samm!

Mine was taken down at a cub scout camp we were holding outside Florencecourt.  That day we were down at the Share Centre and a particularly windy day coupled with a whole load of very tired young boys ended our canoeing session early...this is the instructor we had on the day (name escapes me) 'teaching' the young lads the finer arts of pier jumping!

Wading out chest high in water with the most expensive thing in own in my right mitt is something I may never repeat again though.....!

I enjoyed all the photos, congrats to all entrants, especially the winners, and a worthy mention to our runner up...loved your work!

Mine was taken in Castlewellan two summers ago. It was absolutely pouring and we made it to the watch tower.

It was a quick photo with all the rain. You cant really make out the rain in the photo, but you'll have to believe me it was there.

Looking forward to this next topic. Hopefully I'll get a vote next month.  :)

I voted based on interpretation of the theme rather than the best technical or most stunning photo, so for me it had to be hud. Captured the theme perfectly.

My photo was taken while kayaking round Milford Sound, New Zealand. Having a lifelong fascination with penguins that photo was taken moments before I had my first ever meeting with a wild penguin. Kayaking with penguins, now that is a memory that will stay with me for life :-)

my dad was in New Zeland for world cup and he got to spend 3 days helping to clean up the Penguins that got caught in the oil spill on the coast , he now is fascinated by them and how each one was so different,

photos this month where great i voted for Liam as it made me want to be sitting there ,, well done everyone
