This months winner of the NI-Wild Monthly Photo Competition

Awww Redspud... Knocked off the Top Spot.  Great shot though.  Really thought you had a chance of a Hat Trick.

Well Landyliam, what can I say... Great Picture and a well deserved win this month.  This means you have the privilege of picking Septembers theme.

Photographers for this months "Wild Wood" shots were:

Entry 1 - BushrangerCZ
Entry 2 - LennyJ
Entry 3 - Big E
Entry 4 - Dowser
Entry 5 - Speciman Yak
Entry 6 - Redspud
Entry 7 - Wrh51
Entry 8 - Landyliam
Entry 9 - Paul72

My picture was a bit of a lame attempt this month but I rode past this sign in Scotland and couldn't resist.  I'm not surprised I got no votes due to the lack of trees and considering it was a Wild Wood theme, but there used to be trees there till man got his hands on it!!!

Here's a brief history of Carrifran Wild Wood if anybody is interested

[LennyJ1]

Great shot liam, well won

[Spud]

Good man Liam, well done!

[specimanYak]

Great photo Liam, deservedly won.

[LandyLiam]

i finally beat redspud (who's the daddy now  ) and with a photo plucked after a last minute trawl through my archives, taken during a holiday at Glendalough last month (be nice to know what it is)

to all who voted for me thank you

so now to choose Septembers topic, something a little different i hope

OUTDOOR SELF PORTRAIT

now no need to show us yer bake if you don't want to, but must show some part of you and you must have clicked the shutter button yourself! don't just be thinking about the self-timer, be imaginative, think mirrors, reflections, shadows or long exposures, happy snapping folks

[VMCC]

Sounds interesting. I wonder what kind of shots you'll get!

Congrats on winning the photo comp.
