i chatted to the ninja divers on my way up, and nearly went for a dive myself on my way down but chickened out as i was on my own  :'(

QuoteAway with you...it 'aint a race...
also i'm a sucker for an odd shaped rock so kept going off course to investigate unuusal geological features  :D

here's my bit of wreckage attached (loved the inflatable plane, i bet one of you even weighed it  ::) )

Awesome! great job guys. You have created wonderful memories for yourself. I love it.
Although I had thought I would hear on the news of this B52 or whathaveyou being flown off the mountainside down to N.ards.  ;)

Nice photos, looks like you guys had fun!  Of course, whilst you kids were splashing about in the paddling pool, us real men (and woman) threw in a couple of hills to work up an appetite ;)  Unfortunately my GPS batteries died (been trying out a GPS app) on the way back down, so the return leg (blue) stops short of the Trassey Track.  Note to self, iPhone battery will only last around 4 hours when using GPS!

Was an awesome trip, must say I'm really enjoying the Friday/Saturday trips a lot better as it gives you a day to recover before work :)  Good to catch up with you all again!

well i've been meaning to get back to chimney rock and have another look so 11 months later i brought the scouts up meaning i could search a wider area and last night we came up trumps and found the engine  :)
