I am new to the forum, thought id post here just to say hi to you all.

i have joined because i used to be into the great outdoors but in the last few years i havent had the time to get out and about.

So i am here to give myself some motivation and to meet new like minded people.

welcome jim, your story sounds similar to so many others (and mine) trying to get back into the outdoors after a long break, just be careful, some of us overdo it a bit

You will find a mixed bag of interests on the forum from Hillwalking, climbing, geocaching, paddlesport, photography, camping, Bushcraft, mountain biking to fishing.

We all have one common interest, which is enjoying the outdoors.
