when you're walking, don't keep the light on!  God gave us excellent night vision, it just takes about 20 minutes of darkness to reach full power.

Totally, 100% agree... but... it doesnt help when every one else is shining their head torch in your eye balls

It's Petzl all the way for me. Currently use a Tikka XP. I've used Silva and Eveready and Blackdiamond in the past and they all broke. The Petzl one has never let me down.
