I 'might' be able to get down far the evening after work but everything's in flux at the minute, so can't say for sure.

Sounds good though.

We're thinking of Bloody Bridge campsite which is coastal, close to the Mournes and allows fires. If you can think of anywhere else we'd certainly consider it.

Hi would love to see it near some water, to encourage more watersports ie kayaking, an ideal spot would be portballintrea, or for hiking aswel near the glenarm river...

Sounds fantastic, any dates confirmed yet?

RedLeader

Yep, 31st July at the mo.

Will their be any equipment hire, ie kayaks to run the bloody river, I know that their are groups that run it as I done it years ago?

RedLeader

At the moment the plan is purely a meet and eat of some sort rather than an activity weekend. However, people can organise whatever activities they want to do on the day.

If I can make it I will be up also, crashed the car the other day and it's not goin to be driving anytime soon, so if anyone is heading from Antrim direction I could try and blah a lift

We're going to postpone this for the time being. Watch this space and we'll maybe kick this off again later in the year.
