So ordered new stove from millets and paid on 4th.
I still haven't recieved the stove as yet.
http://tracking.yodel.co.uk/wrd/run/wt_xtest_pw.cb_cgi?cb_dialogue=specificStatus3&parcelNumber=JJD0002288402077912&destCountryCode=GB
Here's the tracking link, mailed millets twice to customer service with no reply at all.
yodel response 1. When i tried to check this parcel number it is not showing up on my system,if you do not have this parcel please contact the sender and we can get this investigated.
I sent them the tracking link and cut and pasted info.
Yodel response 2. If you have not received your parcel, please do not hesitate to contact your supplier who will need to contact us and raise an investigation on your behalf
I replied could you not just see if it is in the belfast depot as your tracking claims and have it delivered.
yodel response 3.We are unable to provide you with any further update on your parcel at the present time.
Many apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
If goods have not been scanned for a period of five days then the next step we would have to take would be to start an investigation as it is possible that the goods have gone missing. If this is the case then the sender would need to start the Claims process with us.
So no stove, £23 down, yodel wont now do anything unless pressed to do so and millets customer service aren't replying. cracker.
This is a serious beware, I wouldnt ever order anything with millets online again or deal with yodel.

How did you pay for it? If it was on a credit card and you dont get the goods, your card company can claim the money back on your behalf!
-
Good advice spud, claim back from card
-
I think Millets are very busy as of late
-
Think it was a visa debit I ordered with? does that work?

debit card should work also, but you need to give them sufficient time to deliver, (usually 28 days) if not recieved after that then ring your bank!

you would think with other shops going into admin. they would bust a gut to help.sometimes you just cant be sympathic to some brands going to the wall. we all know some chains who have never been helpful while others cant do enough for you
-
compare this to amazon, we bought a kettle that didnt work mailed them and then had us a new one posted out and just told us to post old one back. no messing.
Wish I had just spent the extra and got a trangia from them now.
-
Have you called the Belfast depot? If it was me I'd call in. They're in the old DHL building at Belfast Docks.
I'd definitely give them a call. Sounds as if it's either stuck in their depot or sadly gone but at least you'd know for sure.

Agreed, but if you were in the position of losing job would you be busting your gut?
-
anyone have an address or phone number?
-
Old DHL place.
Unit 3a, Edgewater Road, Belfast Harbour, Belfast
Try this number 0844 248 0538
-
tried to ring, leave a message, answering machine.
-
not busting gut if losing job ,good polite service can save jobs, staff standing talking to each other ignoring customers can ruin a businness and frankly some deserve it

I got Protein online that was supposed to be delivered by yodel..
They were a nightmare. Missed it one day, arranged for the next, didn't arrive. Then I called to say I would actually drive to Carrick and pick it up, and I got there, and they said it was out for delivery. (Thankfully it was finally left with a neighbour that day!)
Hope you get it sorted

I'm suprised Millets still gets any business these days. Their prices are high and range is terrible.

Seems lots of people have problems with Yodel:

Also try typing in 'Yodel are...' in the Google search bar!

I find this happens with almost anything I order from UK mainland that is sent via courier. For some reason it seems no company left hand has a clue about the right hand. Almost all instances they send it "next day courier delivery" you then discover that the courier company used doesn't actually operate over here, this means it is palmed off onto a local courier company in northern ireland who have to first collect the package from Belfast docks in a 40f trailer. This means the package doesn't even get looked at until the next morning whereby it is placed in their own delivery schedule.
All in all I find it adds 2-3 days onto a "next day" service. Generally where ever possible now I simply request it to be have a couple of stamps on and put in RM hands, sure it may still take a few days but they at least don't charge obscene money for a service that is impossible.

I see it is a mixed opinion when you type "Landrovers are..." You may not like the first choice!

;D but the fourth was good

Just had a parcel delivered by "Yodel' told the driver about the online debate, according to him they were bought over by DHL & have been treated like the 'poor cousins" since the hand-over with the best of Yodel's sevice's now supporting the extra DHL work
-
Just as I was about to contact my credit card!
Yodel delivered today! Dispatched 4/1/12 arrived 1/2/12!!!!
The base has two small dents in it, but I'll live with those rather than deal with yodel/millets.
Never again, should have just bought a trangia for an extra 17 quid off amazon.
