The NI-Wild Boozer 2017. Come in and take a load off.

A thread for general chat and nonsense - let me get you a pint and a packet of pork scratchings and you can tell Uncle Admin all about it!

So did anyone get anything fun for Christmas or get out for any trips? Beyond odds and ends I didn't get much in the way of outdoors stuff. I did get an interesting bushcraft book which is clearly aimed at an American market as it's full of recipes for possum, beaver and moose which you don't see much of in County Down

Hi Jonno,
I got Mrs Torp a book on things you can do with sticks (we always get each other something randon at Xmas) plus she always collects sticks lol.  Have to get a wee butchers at it as she has not put it down

[RedLeader]

Mrs Torp collects sticks? That girl needs a more exciting hobby

We'll all be collecting sticks some day - walking sticks

Some of us older gentlemen already have them lol

So are we going to see some snow this weekend, the forecast seems a bit muddled?

[Glenn B]

It would be nice Red, unfortunately getting any free time to get out and enjoy it is pretty much impossible for me at the moment

This is a pretty cool set of time lapse videos in the Mournes
