I've located a set of Xmas lights so put me down for that. At the moment the weather looks great for the weekend, not super cold, not much rain and low winds  8)

Hello campers.  I'm looking forward to it.  Weather looks better than it did a few days before last year's outing, thank goodness.

Anyone got one of those flamethrower stoves that we can get going on the mulled wine with?  I have some Primus power fuel that could go in it if that's possible?

Also I'm sure if there are some others that are keen to go you'll easily be accommodated.  Don't let the lack of necessary food items put you off, there are plenty of goodies that would go down well at camp  8)

Glenn if that worked ok last time and you are happy to bring a pot then that sounds like a good solution. Thanks for the offer NTFA.

If anyone has an old bottle of red gathering dust in the back of their cellar or a wee touch of any other special additive that could be turfed into the communial pot of mull stick it in your pack as the big pot will be on all night hic.

That's the cheese all bought. Hard, soft, smoked and fruity. chilli, oniony, red, blue and a bit of the mature stuff. Bang it on yer biscuit and bobs your uncle! Looking forward to washing it down with a drop of that lovely Port! Ive got a 7yr old tag along Son that missed out last year who is very excited.

I'm planning on heading up earlier in the day if I can, and bringing a big bow saw to try and get the firewood situation under control.

Did someone mention Dairylea?  Triangles of course, none of the spread from the tub nonsense.  I'm a sophisticated guy!

Good stuff. If you're bringing lights I'll not bother. Wouldn't want them to get mixed in with the mash by accident anyway  8)

I picked up a box of red so that'll be a good starter.

I'd previously mentioned about bringing up the grills and someone giving me a hand.  Looking back on previous pictures they don't seem just as big as I remember them.  I'll lash the two together and I'll be grand with them.

Any thoughts about what time we should plan to eat?  I think that it was around 7pm last year, maybe a wee bit later by the time we got the fire going rightly.  I'll hopefully be up some time between 4:30 and 5.  Looking forward to it people  :)

I went out and got the pudding and custard tonight, think I will try to get down for around half two and give some time to get organised as never stayed there or parked there before.
