Hi to all!

I'm based in outer Belfast and really enjoy getting out and about.

I have just left the 30's and discovering the world of the 40 – 44 age bracket (although truth be told I am mentally still in my early 20's!).

I was in the scouts in my youth for about 15 years from a little Cub right through to a warranted leader of a Venture Scout Group and this is where I acquired a love of the outdoors and camping.

Normally head out with a few friends and make our way to the Mournes for a 1 or 2 nighter but really only getting back into things over the past year or two.

I have an interest in Bushcraft and Primitive living skills but have very little experience in either as I do my own research but generally if its outdoors count me in.

I am looking forward to being part of the ni-wild family.

Welcome aboard mate, If its getting out and about your after your in the right place there is usually something going on although its a wee bit quiet at the mo but just keep your ear to the ground. .

Welcome to NI Wild OldScout, the board is littered with plenty of us around that age and who developed a love for the hills in our youth.  At this age you really appreciate the time you get out, which is often limited by other factors in life.
