just seeing this now, it is a great wee place cant remember the many times i've camped in that fort the first time i camped there i was 17 me and my mates went there bout half a dozen times a year there after till i was in my 30's.

I came across across a nice wee blog from walkers based across the water.  There are a few accounts of trips over to the Mournes.  They seemed to have a few nice relaxed days and took some lovely photos of the area.  See the "you might also like" bit at the bottom and you can follow a five day rambling trip.
