I feel like death, all day boozing and then clubbing last night was probably not the best prep for this weekend's events, however it certainly was fun!

Time for sleep and hydration!

Ive got Tyrconnell whiskey, three 5cl bottles in a box with a dustey glass.          £9:99

1st small helping is a single malt, smooth sweet taste and delicate dry finish

2nd small helping is a 10 year finished in sherry cask. Initially matured in american oak and finished in sherry casks. A rich, deep colour with a complex nose of sherry, honey and citrus. Smooth, creamy, full bodied flavour with hints of sherry and nuts that slide into a long oak finish.

3rd small helping is a 10 year finished in port cast. Originally matured in american oak with the final period of maturation in port casts. An inviting malt of deep antique copper colouring. SILKY sweet taste of rich fruits, honey and spice with beautiful lingering oak finish.

Now im going to wash dusted glass and ill let you all know what i think of each helping.  ;)

Peaty again. im thinking WHAT a rip off.  Honey citrus creamy, full bodied. What a laugh..........Give me bushmills 16 year malt any day !

To be honest im not into peaty whiskeys. But this one is not bad as it does have a silkyness to it. No where near the smoothness of Bushmills malts !
