The weather looks great for the weekend. Cloudy with sunny spells and dry. Looks like winter is finally over, it's time to try and enjoy the forests before the midges reappear :)

At the minute we're aiming to be at Carrick Plant Hire Car Park for 1230ish, at camp by 1pm.

Camp was pure win.
Heading out for a quick run now to burn off all that cholesterol.

Gotta say, envious of the bullseye bivviers after hearing the stories round the fire.

Two questions

When's the next bullseye bivvy?

Can some similarly evil weather be arranged?

I'm still grinning about what a great night I had in my festival tent.  I was only meant to be walking up for a few hours with the kids but seeing the awesome weather forecast I stopped off at Argos for a tent in Downpatrick and phoned Landyliam to scrounge three sleeping bags and a bottle of scotch  :P

Here's a few photos of the event:

Oh Errrrr!!!

That was a brilliant camp guys, we'd a ball. This is what we should be doing more often, bit of fire cooking and plenty of fun times for the kids (thanks to Dowser and his bout of bow and arrow making!). After Ed & Rustys success with spit roasted chicken I say we give that another turn next time. It wasn't terribly successful last time out but we've all learned a lot since then :D
