Newbie saying Hello.

Hello everyone  :)

First post on the forum and hopefully the starting point for good times ahead.

Main reason for getting involved in the forum is to meet and hopefully get some advice and experience from the guys who do a bit of (or a lot of) climbing. I'm more or less just starting out myself but have been walking, camping etc for a while now. I've always admired climbing & climbers from a distance for adventure and staying in shape but a man can only have so much hobbies.

I'm from the Newtownabbey area and at the moment I'm fortunate enough to have quite a bit of free time so if anyone is looking for a partner at the wall to climb I'd be up for that and hopefully I can learn something.
I recently went down to Tollymore and a took part in their one day Climbing Wall Skills 'course' so I'm happy enough with tying in and belaying another climber but obviously a lot more experience is needed.

We climb every Tuesday at the ozone around 7pm more than happy for you to come along.

Hay gmb, hope to make it down some time too to the ozone.  Work seems to take up far too much time though!
