I think kids will love the snow if it's there still.
I do the egg hunt behind the wall beside where we are camping. It will be a good sunny day as the weather forecast it to be.


5pm same as last year the easter egg hunt will be on. (I have only 6 medium eggs to win in the egg hunt. but don't worry if there is more than 6 kids in the hunt they won't be left out I have small creme eggs and small caramel eggs and kinder eggs to go around). I will also have a golden egg prize and I won't say what that prize is. you just have to wait and see.

6pm the free raffle will be held. there is only 1 prize for this and this prize is shown on the front page (Hip flask that has the niwild and logo on the front of it).


I will have the campfire lit about just after the free raffle. don't want to light this fire to early to give the people in newcastle the opportunity to ring the fire brigade. This shouldn't happen anyway because I have camped in donard last month and lit a campfire and no fire brigade turned up.
The only reason last year easter camp they came was because the day before there was a forest fire.

There's enough snow to make it pretty but it'll not give us any problems camping.

I should be there around 4ish with at least 1 kid, but possibly 4. Can't stay overnight though.

Just wondering if anyone fancies bringing some tunes on an ipod phone or (wireless) the son has a wee speaker which is good but his taste in music isn't he's 11.
