Thanks for voting. Haven't been up Binnian since I done the Mourne Wall towards the end of last summer. What work are they doing on Binnian? (I dread to think)..

Might need to update my article on Binnian.. http://www.walkingandhikingireland.com/walking-irelands-iconic-mountains-number-3-slieve-binnian/

They are doing path repairs/erosion control, something I think doesnt really need done, but thats a discussion for another forum, its just not nice when you have to pass diggers and bags upon bags of sand and stone on top of your fave mountain

That work has already been completed, with a path going from the saddle to the north tor, I think they are doing a path from north tor to summit tor, and also from summit tor down onto carrick little track along the mourne wall, we watched them bringing in a load of the stone etc by helicopter one day, big operation!
