Well, got this one done on Friday and Saturday, tough walk but very rewarding to reach the finish! Walked 31 miles on the Friday, overnight camp and then 16 miles on Saturday, thanks to the lads for the company and craic, enjoyed it immensely, even if I am a tad stiff today!

That is some distance, well done guys.  When you get a chance a wee bit more info would be good, what the route was like, scenery, what you carried, post walk pints etc. the usual stuff.

Really well done lads, it's good to see some other parts of our wee country, a real nut buster but I'm sure it was well worth it. Well done

Cheers lads, started off in lisnaskea on sat morning, weather not great, heavy showers all day but got a chance to dry out between them so was not too bad, we took the bad weather route due to the rain, the whole route was either roads or good forest tracks, most of us wore trainers but was still tough on the feet! camped, had a BBQ for our breakfast on sat morning, then finished the route on the sat, with a stop along the way for steak sandwiches, then finished in aughnacloy. It was a tough route, lot of small hills the whole way along it, but some stunning and virtually deserted countryside along the way.

Great stuff guys, that's a commendable distance to cover in 2 days. Where was the camp spot, it looks idyllic.

It was at a wee lough in north Monaghan, was full of fish, great wee spot, its on the sliabh Beagh way route, but would be more suitable for a bivvy, as the spot I had my tent on was the only bit of tent suitable ground there!

Had a great time, beautiful part of the country and was amazed by how deserted it was, we had the route to ourselves for the majority of the way. Great company guys, and the craic and laughter helped immensely when the going got tough, we had four seasons on day one, rain, hail, then sun then back to rain, hail, sun again. Those 31 miles on day one nearly broke me but we all got there in the end, had the best nights sleep in a tent yet, lol.
Honestly thought i wouldn't be able to walk on saturday but i think we all surprised ourselves by grinding out another 16 miles, well done to you guys, it was a pleasure to walk with you. :)
