What to do for summer? IDEAS!
« on: June 18, 2012 »

Hey everyone
me and my mates are making a good list of what to do over the summer!
Camping, beach etc.. but some spots to go along with that would be great if you could help out too! we want to visit as many around the mournes as possible
anything else in general is great to, as this is going to be a big list!
nothing like ''watch the fireworks with someone you love'' c'mon.. lol
Cheers :)

The only downside to going outdoors is having to come back inside.

I'm walking a bit of the Camino De Santiago in Sept: haven't heard anyone come back with a bad experience yet.

R M. I did the last 110kms of the French route in Sept 2011. It was a beautiful experience and easy peasy walking. Good on ya. I'm sure you'll love it!
I'm planning to do some of the first part of the same route this Sept. It's magnetic ...

I flew Dublin - Santiago in Spain. I then bussed it from Santiage to Sarria and walked from Sarria back to Santiago. It takes about 5 days if you want to walk everday. If you want to chill some night snad some days it can take as long as you have ...
My flight was less than £200.

It's called the French route as it starts just before the Pyrenees in south west France. I hear this part of the walk is the most challenging in many ways.

I stayed in pensions, kind of like a B and B without the breakfast which worked out £10 per person sharing. Hostels (privately run and local community run) are available all along the route and usually cost about £6 per night. It all costs as much or as little as you have ...

Food is very cheap and drinks are super cheap in north of Sapin still. Plus the Euro is weak right now for us to buy.

It's not all holy Joe either!!!!
