Having spend last Saturday marshalling for the Moure-way Marathon i fancied a trek around the Western Mourne's today.I was joined today with my pal Lenny & we parked the car at the Sanbank carpark.We made our way along the lane way closing the gate & stepping onto the Hen treck which follows the Rocky water stream along the valley.Plan was to walk along this trek & ascent Cock mountain  ;D yes i know it's funny,then over to Hen.The weather was overcast with burst of sunshine breaking through at times.Here's some photo's & a wee movies clip from our mornings walk-

popped up cock mountain myself yesterday to nab a wee geocache, noticed a nice wee indent near the summit on the slievenamiskan side, would be suitable for a couple of tents or a few bivvy bags, will add that one on my todo list.
