Hi Mourneman, just to let you know that there is another orgainsation that caters for Rambling and Hillwalking but not Mountaineering. It is The Ulster Federation of Rambling Club (UFRC) The website is http://www.ufrc-online.co.uk/. In order to become a member of this organistion, you just join a hillwalking/rambling club in Northern Ireland that is affiliated to it and you automatically become a member if UFRC. They offer discounts in a lot of the Outdoor Shops in Belfast and beyond. They also offer differernt courses. Check the website for more details.
