The Buffalo Mountain Shirts are the best bits of clothing outdoor clothing I've worn. The zips make temperature control possible without resorting to a load of layers.

DPM Army Issue Gortex Bivvy Bag

The DPM bag has changed my whole approach to camping.  I believe if I was wanting to camp ultra ultra ultra light I could carry just my Bivvy Bag and some Pre-prepared food and I would need nothing else but the clothes I'm wearing.

With the Bivvy Bag I can also camp anywhere in almost any weather conditions.  A tent limits your location as it can be impossible to pitch on solid rock formations found on summits etc and wind can tear it apart in exposed areas.

With supplies and my bivvy bag I reckon I would be good for a few days anywhere.
