Still places available if anyones interested, many thanks to those who have secured their place on the trip, received this email from the Northern Ireland office for Habitat for Humanity:

 Hey John,

Joanne Briggs has passed your email on to me, and I just wanted to thank you for updating us on your event. We have fundraising events happening all the time, but this is a particularly exciting one and we wanted to wish you every success. I understand that you are the father of one of the girl’s taking part in the Assumption Grammar team travelling to Malawi. We really appreciate your effort in support the work of the team and Habitat in general. International volunteers are responsible for building around 10% of all Habitat homes, so the team will be making an important contribution to our work and helping to change the lives of families in need.

Your promotional flyer looks good. I have attached a number of items to help you with further promotion and gathering sponsorship. For one, I have attached our own sponsorship form which has space for the donor to sign it and indicate that they are a UK taxpayer & that we can claim gift on their donation. I have also attached an A3 PDF poster, a word document with our logos included, & a JPEG of the Global Village logo. Global Village is the name of the international volunteer programme.
I hope this is of some help to you. If you have any further comments or queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Mourneman

Shame I didn't realise about this sooner!  I checked the thread and everything but unfortunately it didn't click.  Maybe next time.

Ah well, I'll be kicking myself regarding this trip for a little while.  But as always, enjoy it thoroughly guys, and do bring back lots of pictures to rub it in.   :)
