I'm really taken with the Osprey Talon 44 but it's soooo much money I really like the zippered pockets on the hip belt, the pockets on the shoulder straps and the stow away feature for poles
No other bag in that size has those $:-\$

The other plus is it looks big enough for an overnighter but small enough for a daypack and picnic

Do I sound like I'm talking myself into this?

I'm currently using a Trespass Circul8. It serves a purpose but is a bit weighty and lacks any 'features'.
