there's always the blue route for those not wanting to tackle commedagh, i have a feeling some of my party willl be turning back early  ;D

note: i've modified the route up slightly avoiding the hares gap, just to be different, i've never been that way before

Have a good one lads, i'm going to have to miss this one. Have got myself involved in the Festive500 bike thing. I need to put in at least one big ride to get my kms up and tomorrow morning is set to be the lowest wind of the week, so I need to seize the moment!
I will be in the elements and burning calories, so with you in spirit  ;D

Looks like a decent day was had.  I managed a wee jaunt up Cave Hill with the kids and bumped into a couple of NI Wilders myself.

i finally figured out how to overlay the routes onto a map using quo, now just need a decent map

lenny2 not looking forward to this walk

don't expect any pressies from felim (aka shrek)

near slievenaglogh summit, lenny2 throws up in shreks rucksack

just another brick in the wall

spidermen

top of the pot of legawherry

ascending commedagh, a short but very steep section

lenny2 is in ecstasy after making the summit of commedagh

one of the few moments the cloud dissappeared, you had to be very quick with the camera

hey ho, hey ho, its off to work we go

shrek and bic under the castles of commedagh

you can just about make out the lights of the mountain rescue land rover on the trassey track, they saw shrek then turned back  ;D

a wee waterfall on the goat track coming down from hares gap
