By looking at the review video clip of the Cobra 2, It looks to me like there is good separation from inner and outer.

Thanks for finding that Wild Camper... yeah, I wouldn't say that was terrible; pretty average really. Wouldn't put me off.
They've also made the sides of the inner more solid which will help comfort in the wind (combined with the lower outer). I sometimes have to build windbreaks of gear in the old one as it ventilates a little too well.

Last year i got myself a  vango tempest 200
It has a 5000 hydro and is about 2.8 kg
I got it after spending a night in a Banshee 200 which is a great wee tent and a good bit lighter ,but not much room for kit especialy if there is 2 people
The vango has a good sized poarch area for cooking if the weather turns nasty or for keeping wet gear seperate at night.
But like all 2 man hiking tents is at its best with with one adult one child .
 Also the leg room is good as i am about 6ft and never had any issues ,you can also sit up at the highest point when changing, all important points in this climate of ours.
