I'll have a tarp along and a (yet to be used) hammock, but I'll prob. find a wee spot by the fire for a bivvy (not actually sure if I'll be able to fit in the hammock   :D).

Slightly OT but just getting packed and noticed a couple of things I have that I'm not using.

Anyone coming on the course want them?

Used German Mess Tins Never used by me but some dents.

Honey Stove -only used once and to burn tea lights (don't ask!)

Go System Mini Lite Never used

Not selling them as such, just don't want/need them so if anyone wants them just give the Mourne Rescue a wee donation (link in signature) (the North West Mountain Rescue team)and it's yours.

There were some interesting spoon carvings on the go when I arrived, nice fire, great nights sleep in the bivvy.
Fun day of eating leaves and making various fires... well, I could only use a bow-drill - had no luck whatsoever with fire-steel or matches!  :D

The guys know their stuff, and it was surprising the amount of resources available in such a small patch of woodland. Real eye-opener.

Many thanks to Scribble for the lift home just there, and obviously Andy & Paul for the course!

I'm sure folks will be along with more tales and photos.
