This is just me thinking out loud here. But listen anyway:

The way we have a Photo Competition every month is all very well and good. But after we vote and congratulate the winner that is usually the end of it.

Is there anyway we could get a section somewhere on the page where the previous photo comp winning picture is displayed all month until the next winner?

I'm just thinking it would be nice to see a wee box on the homepage or somewhere that reminds you of the picture that everyone loves. It wouldnt need to be anything big, maybe something similar to the "News, We have facebook, twitter and Flickr groups." in the top right hand side of the screen.

Thanks for listening, hopefully Admin will get a wee read too.

This sounds doable. We can have a winners thread or something. Dowser's king of the photo comp, he's the man to ask.

Even if all the winning photos were slideshowed in a small box or something.

It would be great at reminding us of all the winners.

I just cant see how people cant vote for my picture, they will be overcome with my dashing looks.  ;D

I like the idea of the months winning photo or a small photstream of all winners being incorporated onto the front page, also how about using some of the photos on the NI-Wild flyers and posters, i'm sure the photographers wouldn't mind.

I think the least we could do is the wall of fame, a locked thread with each months winning pic, maybe we could make a calendar from them each year  ;)

that's a class idea, the ni wild calendar! Could sell it to make money for the MMRT! I like the idea of a winners thread, cos I really like the pics that won in previous months before I even entered.

its highly unlikely we would sell enough calendars to cover the costs of printing, but maybe a wee downloadable calendar, i've seen one done before where you can use each pic as your wallpaper (for the computer of course  ::) )
